Question: Hi. I have woke up with brownish lumps on the back and side of my tongue. I have had a cough for 1 weeks and in the past 2 months had tonsillitis 3 times

Hii. I think you are having acute tonsillitis again. If you are having tonsillitis then you consult an ent surgeon and give a throat swab for culture and sensitivity. In the meantime start betadine and warm saline gargle. You can start any anti allergic tablet levocetrizine. After the throat swab report comes then only you can modify your antibiotic according to that. Please take orally more fluids preferably warm.
