Question: Hi I kicked my right foot (top of it) into my sons dresser while playing a VR game 2 weeks ago. Kicked very hard where I fell to the ground. There is no swelling, no bruising, etc. but I can't walk without pain and it hurts the most in the morning and the pain is not going away! There is no visual injury- I thought the pain would go away but it isn't. Guessing I need to see a doc but thought to try here first :-)

Brief Answer:
It could be a contusion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Most probably it will be a contusion or sprain. Fracture is unlikely because if there is a fracture you will not be able to walk and pain will be extremely severe.
As of now you can use over the counter available analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief. You can also apply icepacks for pain relief.
You have to take absolute rest or avoid weight bearing for three to four days.
You can wait for few days and most cases resolve with conservative management.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
