Brief Answer:
Very likely you are not pregnant but the best way to rule pregnancy out is a pregnancy test

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service,

I carefully read your query and here is my advice:
- because your boyfriend used a condom and you got your periods on time the next month, very likely you are not pregnant. The sensitive nipples are a possible sign of pregnancy but do not happen only in pregnant women, thus a woman may have nipple pain and still not be pregnant.

To conclude:
- nipple pain is not specific only for pregnancy, hormonal changes may be a possible cause as well
- because you had protected intercourse and your periods were on time the following month very likely you are not pregnant.
- on the other hand, the best way to rule out pregnancy for sure is to have a pregnancy test. Condoms are quite effective in preventing pregnancy if used correctly but there are still a small number of women that might get pregnant even with condom use.
- if the urinary pregnancy test comes out negative, then there is nothing to worry

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
