Hi, I Received Some Test Results, Please Review.
Question: Hi, I received some test results, please review.
Brief Answer:
most tests are normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
besides your glucosylated hemoglobin A1c which is much higher than the desired levels, the rest of your tests are almost normal. Your LDL cholesterol is only slightly above the target levels for diabetes but I wouldn't recommend drug treatment as the first measure against it.
Please keep in mind that lab tests cannot be interpreted without the clinical context. Why where the tests ordered? Is is a check-up? Did you have symptoms?
If they've been ordered as a check-up then your diabetes control should be improved.
Kind Regards,

Hi, I have a history of type diabetes and kidney stone, a little shortness of breqth and chest discomfort, also diagnosed with acute appendicitis, acute bronchitis recently.
Also. The crp levels seem really high?
Also. The crp levels seem really high?
Brief Answer:
not really
Detailed Answer:
Your crp levels are a little bit higher than normal but this is not a big problem. It is supposed to be connected with higher risk for cardiovascular incidents but it's very doubtful whether it has a real meaning or not. I wouldn't make clinical decisions based on it. There are other much more credible indices for cardiovascular risk calculation...
Best Regards!
