Brief Answer:
No need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I've gone through your query in detail.
You don't need to worry because today's ultrasound can easily discriminate between benign and malignant lesions so if this is characterized as fatty nodule then there is no need for further diagnostic steps.
All you need to do is an annual ultrasound check-up.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

Even though I had breast cancer on to he other side 26 years ago ?? Can this turn to malignant ? Will this fatty lobule grow ? Can you give me an accurate % on how these tests are ! The radiologist 2 of them agreed but I was told it’s not 100% ? So I don’t need to get it removed
Brief Answer:
Almost 100%
Detailed Answer:
Hi. There is no test which is 100% accurate, even MRI is not, but ultrasound is very sensitive in diagnosing malignant tumors and fatty nodule is significantly different than carcinoma or premalignant lesion. If you want to be sure 100%,,just need to repeat ultrasound in 3 months and if there is no growth or structure changes, than it can't be anything serious. Also, such lesions can't turn into malignancy, even if you had already one. There is risk that new tumor may develop on other area and this is why you should have regular follow up with ultrasound, but you should not have biopsy of fatty nodule.
