Hi I Recently Had My IVF Done And Got BHCG

Question: Hi

I recently had my IVF done and got bHCG positive, which means I am pregnant. Its 4th week after my embryo transfer.
Since a week, I am feeling nausea. As a remedy, I am taking pinches of fennel seeds, everyday almost 10-12 times. I recently read about the side effects of fennel seeds in pregnancy, that it might lead to menstrual cycle and cause miscarriage.
Now I am really scared of miscarriage. I didn't had my first scan yet. And today, i got very little amount of brown discharge also.
Please help.

I dont think you should be worrying about fennel seeds too much.
You can always check your beta hcg now to know the increasing in value .Also you can get your ultrasound scan to confirm the viability.
Brown discharge if it turns out to be reddish then you need a direct check up.Until then nothing to worry.

AS YOU KNOW THE IVF SUCCESS YOU WILL BE FEELING GUILTY OF TAKING IT AS YOU FOUND SOME NEWS.
BUT we haven't come across any problem so far.
so better avoid and discuss with your doctor.There are better medicines to control vomiting sensation.
