Question: Hi

I take naproxen 250mg for tennis elbow. I have been given lansparole 15mg to take before food.

I am fasting so shall I take lansparole before my food a few mins. Then have naproxen? Or can I have naproxen without the need of lansparole

Brief Answer:
Take them both.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you should take lansparole and don't stop it.
It can protect your stomach lining from getting damaged for naproxen usage.
I think you should take lansparole before food preferably 30 minutes before and naproxen taken bat the end of the meal.
Better to take them both.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
It will not affect the heart.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I don't think that naproxen can cause heart issues taking it 2-3 times a week.
It doesn't give any side effects on heart.
Your blood pressure is within normal range.
Continue taking naproxen together with lansparole in order to protect stomach lining from naproxen usage.

Answered by Dr. Olgeta Xhufka (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
You can take lansparole 2-3 minutes before meal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thank you for asking again.
Naproxen 500mg is larger dosage than 250 mg , twice the dose of 250 mg , used when pain is more intense.
You can use lansparole 2-3 minutes before meal taking count that you are fasting. It will be effective on protecting your stomach.

I have another issue if you can help

I can be sat and I feel like popping sensation in chest? It’s more like a tick I do not get pain or shortness of breath. It gets me worried
doctor
Answered by Dr. Olgeta Xhufka (42 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
It can be stress and rapid heart rate.

Detailed Answer:
Taking count that you don't have pain or shortness of breath I think it can be related to rapid heart beat. I think it can be related to stress and not to any other issues.
If you relate it with other symptoms or situations you can write me back.
