Please provide some more details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using "Ask a doctor" service.

It can be that you have bipolar disorder because most of the times the beginning of bipolar disorder is with depression episode.

But to diagnose the part of mania in bipolar disorder is not enough just to have high ups in the mood. Those high ups can come also from the exaggerated effect of antidepressant medicine, when it has higher levels in the blood of a person.
A person with mania or hypomania (not so exaggerated hyper episodes) has also things like problems with the law by making crazy outlaw activities, multiple sexual experiences at same time or like to experiment a lot, fixed delusions (beliefs about people around that are not true at the end), hallucinations (seeing or hearing voices, people), alcohol or drug abuse, ect. So basically everything that is considered over the top behaviour by the society.
Give me more information or share your thoughts if you recognise any of these behaviour in yourself.

Looking forward to your follow up question.

Kind regards,
Dr. Klarida Papaqako.

So my lows are bad to the point im suicidal. Have many scars from self harm. I have been known in the past to take drugs which arnt prescribed with no worry for the health implications. When I'm high I am very over the top happy. I tend to dominate conversations to the point I cant get my words out as my mind races 100miles an hour. I will do things at home or work without the regard for rules or safety. Become very optimistic about everything almost untouchable. I also climb out of my bedroom Window 2nd floor if I cant find the front door key. Hope this gives a bit more clarity

Brief Answer:
Looks lile a mild form of mania

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the follow up question.

What you are describing to me seems like mania. I would recommend to contact a local doctor to give you the proper treatment. Maybe you will not need a treatment because it is mild but maybe your doses of antidepressants need to be adjusted. It is better though to talk these with your doctor.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
