Hi I Took The XXXXXXX One Pill 8 Weeks Ago
Question: Hi I took the XXXXXXX one pill 8 weeks ago and have still had no period. I took the pill around 2 days before I expected a period. Due to this I’ve actually not had a period now for 12 weeks but 8 since the pill. All I’ve had is a few hours of brown discharge around the 8th of this month around the time my period should of come.
All my tests have been negative. I am urinating more, occasionally have cramps and sometimes feel like I am going to come in but don’t. I also have some spasm feelings in my lower abdomen which are quite consistent at night. I have a 8 month old baby but my periods returned soon after and we’re back to being regular. I have taken this pill in recent years and it has never delayed me. The only time I’ve not had a period this long is when pregnant so am a little worried.

I read your query and I understand your concern.
The pill can cause quite a disbalance of the hormons. Usually after use should cause some bleeding. And since you were expecting the period it should had caused the period. Since it didn't happen, there is quite a chance that you are pregnant. All the other symptoms you have can also indicate pregnancy. So I would recommend considering a pregnancy test. A simple one you can buy over the counter can do. Probably you were already pregnant before using the pill.
If the pregnancy test results negative, then you should consider consulting a gynecologist. An ultrasound would give quite a good view of everything is ok with the ovaries and uterus.
