Brief Answer:
Diltiazem can interact with magnesium dropping blood pressure too low.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you can safely use ecinacea while on metoprolol and diltiazem.
Meanwhile taking magnesium is a bit risky because it may interact with diltiazem and make blood pressure fall too low.
Magnesium can block calcium to enter cells the same mechanism use even calcium blockers such diltiazem and this can make the blood pressure too low. Taking magnesium and metoprolol and ecinacea is safe and they don't interact with each other.

Hope I have answered the question.

Answered by Dr. Olgeta Xhufka (17 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Take magnesium and closely monitor your blood pressure.

Detailed Answer:
So as a conclusion I can say that you may start taking magnesium 250 mg pill in morning and blood pressure medications at night and closely monitor your blood pressure.
If you have symptoms of lightheadness , dizziness, fatigued and you find blood pressure in low levels you better stop talking magnesium.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
