Question: Hi,

I was bitten by a dog 2 days ago and am starting my anti-rabies vaccination from today. I have read that along with anti-rabies vaccine, one should also take a tetanus shot. But, I have taken a tetanus shot about 3-4 months ago. So, do I have to take it again?

Also, please let me know the immunity period of tetanus injection. One doctor told me that the immunity of tetanus injection stays for more than a year.

Please suggest.
