Question: Hi I was kicked by Horse in the leg below my knee on 3/31/2019. I have lots of bruising, swelling, and a hematoma where he made contact. Im walking on it just fine no pain . I was wondering if the swelling and bruising can cause a blood clot?

Brief Answer:
Blood clot is not likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The swelling and bruising in the area are suggestive of a hematoma formation due to an internal bleeding. A blood clot is not likely as there is no pain in the area. You can do a cold compress in the area and watch for any signs of infection like pain, increase in swelling, tenderness, etc.
Such swellings usually subside gradually in 3-4 weeks.
I hope this answers your query.
