Hi I Was Treated For A Sinus Infection 6 Weeks

Question: Hi I was treated for a sinus infection 6 weeks ago. It was 14 day course of antibiotics. Post treatment I had swelling of lymph in my left side throat and minor swelling on right. This has been for 4 weeks now . Now my right tonsil is enlarged with what appears to be a growth on top with a pimple looking spot.
Received an ultrasound for lymph’s but told me to follow up with doctor in 4 weeks but that will be 8 weeks of swelling after medication.
Becoming concerned . Minor swollen throat feeling and soreness

Detailed Answer:
Hii. Previously you had infection of the sinus. Thiis infection can lead to lumph of the neck. If you found there is a growth like thing on the top, you visit an Ent surgeon and get yourself checked. If the is growth it's better to send a biopsy from the growth. This requires anaesthesia. If needed you may need have to do a CT neck you check the whether there is any growth in the ward and it's extension in the neck. In the meantime you may start an antibiotic and betadine gargle and continue till the growth can be completed with the help of surgery.
