Question: Hi, I woke up with a stiff, painful neck about a week ago that I assumed was a pinched nerve from sleeping funny. But now I have some tingling and numbness in my arm and leg on that side of my body. Can a pinched nerve cause that?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to pinched nerve.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The tingling and numbness in the arm can happen due to a pinched nerve in the neck. Such sensations in the leg can happen due to a pinched nerve in the lower spine.
This can also happen due to low levels of vitamin B12 or an electrolyte disturbance. You can start with methylcobalamin supplements after getting your levels checked and see if it helps.
I hope this answers your query.
