Question: Hi. I’m 37 female. My Garmin measures my SPO2 at average of 89% for the last 4 weeks. The highest I remember in the last 12 months is 92%. Doubt that this is COVID related, had a test a couple of weeks back and was negative. I am a terrible sleeper and take 100mg trazodone at night. I have been on a keto diet for 5 weeks. My BMI is 27. I have lost 20kg and have seen improvements in heart rate, pulse but not SPO2. Is there cause for concern?
Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir,
I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but the level of SPO2 is just slightly reduced as the normal range is between 90-95%.. So, your level is not worrying but I would recommend that you get a CBC blood test to exclude anemia as a cause if this slight decrease.
I hope you find this helpful.
