Image of bump
Brief Answer:
Seems like Harmless mucocele
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back...
I have examined the image thoroughly and I am of the opinion that the bump is nothing but a harmless mucocele.
Mucocele is a small sac filled with saliva. This is formed when the opening of the minor salivary gland gets blocked. The saliva production continues, but, is not able to release outside, this causes ballooning of the salivary gland and hence the formation of a mucocele.
Do not worry! It's completely harmless. The mucocele will disappear gradually. If the swelling does not subside and it’s size increases causing discomfort, then it can be removed under local anesthesia.
Hope this clarifies your doubt. Wish you good health.
