Question: Hi I’m a 25 year old female and today I pooped and peed and thought I started my period around 4pm (large amount of blood in Toliet) So I put in a tampon and then later today around 8:30pm I took out my tampon and had zero blood on it. But had a large amount of dark red blood with blood clots in the Toliet again though. I am very concerned since it is clearly coming from my rectum.

Brief Answer:
? Haemorrhoids

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query ,
If you are sure that the blood is coming from the rectum while pooping and is not your periods, then the most likely cause of such bleeding per rectum is possible internal haemorrhoids which may have developed due to chronic constipation or irregular eating habits.
You would need to be investigated by a doctor per rectally with a proctoscope to confirm or rule out the diagnosis. So best advise would be to visit a surgeon for a local examination and then do the needful as would be directed by your doctor.
I hope this answers your query,
Wishing you good health,
Regards
