Hi, I'm A 25 Year Old Male With No Known

Question: Hi, I'm a 25 year old male with no known pre-existing health conditions. My issue is that I''ve been suffering with intense hot flashes that have been affecting me for quite a few months now. I take my temperature when I have these flashes and it is normal and consistent (approx. 66.5°C) so I don't have a fever. I've had a full blood test recently that all came back normal and in range. My skin feels hot and flushed around my abdomen, inner thighs, back, neck and scalp, so I am worried my hot flashes are getting worse and more frequent. I don't know what I can do to help as they are extremely uncomfortable and unnerving, affecting my performance at work and confidence when out of the house. I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Probably urticaria, follow the advice below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I also reviewed your medical history in this platform.
The symptoms seem to be related to an urticarial rash due to an allergic reaction.

I recommend to do some examinations to exclude other possible causes.
I recommend to do:
-A complete blood count
-Liver enzymes
-Thyroid hormone levels

Meanwhile, I suggest using an antihistamine such as Benadryl to relieve the symptoms. You can take it one tablet per day.
I also suggest using a steroid cream such as Hydrocortisone cream for local application.
Cool showers can also be very helpful in relieving the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!
