Question: Hi, I’m a bit nervous and scared, but basically I was wonder how likely I’m am able to have gotten HIV or any STDs if I gave someone (Male) unprotected oral sex for about 2 to 3 minutes without him cumming in my mouth and then protected anal sex for about also 3 mins and don’t believe the condombroke. This happened on Sunday about 2 days ago I’m also male and 19. I’m not showing any symptoms of any kind

Brief Answer:
Regarding risk of STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and noted your concern.

Performing unprotected oral sex call lead to the following STDs by penis to mouth route - Herpes simplex virus infection (HSV), throat gonorrhea and chlamydia, and syphilis. HIV has a negligible risk of transmission through oral sex. On the other hand protected anal sex is safe as far as risk of transmission of HIV is concerned. Though other STDs like genital Herpes, genital HPV can still happen by skin to skin contact between the base of penis and perianal skin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Is risk big enough that I Should go see a doctor and get tested right away or should I wait and use the at home kits for a way to know if I got anything or wait till I notice any possible symptoms? (For the kits I plan on taking one every few weeks till I can confirm that the result)

Brief Answer:
Regarding HIV and STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
You may wait for 2-4 weeks for a HIV screening test. Testing right away would not serve any purpose. You may do a home kit test after 2 weeks and then again after 4 weeks. A negative test at 4 weeks rules out HIV 95% of the times. I would also suggest screening for genital herpes at 4 weeks. In the mean time if you develop any genital sores or warts/growths, you must see a doctor.
Take care
