Hi, I'm Around 9 Weeks Pregnant, I Have Been Waiting

Question: Hi, I'm around 9 weeks pregnant, I have been waiting for an appointment for a termination for 2 weeks now, but I'm struggling with severe morning sickness, it's at the point where I can't keep any food down and even most fluids, I have a 6 year old I'm currently unable to care for as I cannot get out of bed without feeling extreme nausea/vomiting. I've missed work for 2 weeks now and am at the point where I cannot cope with it anymore, I'm looking for some advice on what I can do, is there anything at all that can ease the nausea I'm really struggling... Thanks in advance
Brief Answer:
Use pyridoxine and doxylamine
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
Nausea and vomiting are common in first trimester of pregnancy and may get better after week 16.
I can recommend you to take vitamin B 6 supplement (pyridoxine) and doxylamine.
Also you can take ginger tea often.
If it still doesn't get better you can use dimenhydrinate 50 mg every 4 to 6 hours. If it still persists you can use 100 mg tablets.
Hope I have answered the question.
