Hello!
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that a higher heart rate is quite normal during physical activity especially in overweight persons, who do not exercise regularly.
Anyway, if your heart rate raises more than 30 bpm when standing up, compared to your heart rate during sitting position, suspicions on postural tachycardia syndrome should be raised.
In such case, I would recommend performing some blood lab tests : complete blood count for anemia, thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction, blood electrolytes for possible imbalance.
A Head Up Tilt Test may be needed in order to investigate for orthostatic intolerance.
Hope to have been helpful!
Wishing good health,
