Hello there,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
I've gone through your query in details...
I can understand your concerns...

First of all, please note that Risperidone is a very safe newer generation medication and it's devoid of many troublesome side effects that Olanzapine is having. In fact, you yourself stated that it's devoid of those side effects.

Moreover, if your feeling ok this time, the quality of daily life isn't getting affected, then it's definitely working. On top of that, it doesn't have any habit forming properties, so can be weaned at any time of need.

Immediately after pregnancy, the first few months body undergoes several changes both hormonally as well as physically. So that can certainly impact the overall well being. Yes, the surrounding environment may be bothersome also, but as long as it's not affecting daily activities, then you need not be bothered.

It seems the Rispond is keeping a check on the paranoid. So, my suggestion would be to continue the Rispond plus as per your doctor's advice. Give it some time, and see how it goes...

Let me know if I can assist you further...

Kind Regards
