Question: Hi

Its been 3 years m trying to conceive. We have decided to go for IVF. But before that, could you please advice on if I can try an IUI cycle first and then go for IVF.
I have PCOS. I am very scared of IVF.
I am attaching my laparoscopy report. it was done in 2016. Please verify this. I don't think i have an issue with tubes, never heard of this from my Doctor. However i went for on 1 IUI cycle before 2 years in 2017. But that didn't succeed and after that my doctor also didn't try for that.

Apart from PCOS, i don't have any other issues. My uterus is fine and endometrium is also fine. I have attached latest Ultrasound done.
Only thing is ovaries are very bulky, which is the major obstacle in conception.

I am having second thoughts about IVF. Just want to get an expert advice, if IUI is worth trying or I should directly for IVF.

Please check attached reports and guide me.

I can understand your situation.
I have seen all the reports.
You can try 3to 4 IUI if your husband's semen analysis is normal.
The chances of conception is 10 to 15 % in IUI.
BUT IF THE SEMEN ANALYSIS IS NOT NORMAL DON'T WADTE YOUR TIME.IT DEPENDS ON THAT
KINDLY SHARE THE SEMEN ANALYSIS REPORT.

Semen analysis report is normal. You can defenetly try IUI if your ovulation can be induced.3 to 4 times IUI can be tried.Good luck to both of you.
