Question : Hi, I've been seeing a sort of flickering in the peripheral vision of my left eye and am very concerned. Do I need to go and get seen in person?

Hey thanks for the question . Flickering lights in the peripheral vision can indicate formation of a retinal tear or hole in some cases and it needs to be examined . If there is indeed a retinal pathology you may need a laser to seal the retinal break so that it doesnt advance further . Therefore please get a retina exam done Hope my answer helps you . Regards
