Hi. I’ve Gotten Ring Worm 3 Times This Year. First

Question: Hi. I’ve gotten ring worm 3 times this year. First time was March, second time was about April/May and I just found the third one tonight. All 3 have been on my thigh/hip area and I haven’t been in contact with anyone who has ringworm. I am wondering why this keeps happening and how to stop it from happening again.
Brief Answer:
Oral and topical antifungal
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice
For recurrent tinea, I suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g either Terbinafine or Itraconazole for 3-4 weeks. In addition I suggest you to apply a topical antifungal e.g either Luliconazole or Amorolfine, twice daily for as much period. Apart from that I suggest you to wash your clothes daily and keep your surroundings clean as fungal spores can persist for a long time and can cause recurrence.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance
