Hi! Ive Had PVCs For A Long Long Time But

Question: Hi! Ive had PVCs for a long long time but often when I stand up or bend over.. my heart flips and skips beats and feels weird for a few seconds. Is this connected?
Brief Answer:
Yes they are
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
After going through the medical details provided by you I can very well understand your concern for your health and well being and I would like to tell you that premature ventricular contraction and skipped heartbeats are flip sides of the same coin.
When a premature ventricular contraction occurs the force generated by it is less than the normal timed contraction so because of this the heart skips the next beat in order to relax properly and generate adequate force for the upcoming contraction.
So yes both the phenomenon are interconnected.
I hope I have explained it in a easier way.
Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
Hello again
Detailed Answer:
Its because whenever we stand up from dependent position there is a change in body haemodynamics leading to a change in sympathetic drive which affects the beating of the heart.
VPC’s happening once a while or on and off are not a matter of concern and are commonly encountered in Young individuals.
Hope this information will answer your query.

Hi!
Why do they happen more when I stand up or bend over? Always the first minute or so after my heart feels weird...
