Hi, Last Week Noticed That My Armpit Was Hurting Thought
Question: Hi,
Last week noticed that my armpit was hurting thought may be a zit or something. Then noticed was two sides on my 1 armpit and then that both armpits hurt. I inspected the other armpit and also same. They nymphs hurt when I touch them and seem firm and a slightly smaller than a pea in size. I have stopped using under arm deodorant even thought what I use is natural doesn't have any chemicals and never had an issue with it.
I am worried as I have no other symptoms and not sure what it could be. Any suggestions?
I am.a healthy Male 37 yearly old. I have not been ill for years not even common flu or anything.

Are the swelling attached to the skin, moving with skin when the skin is moved?
Or are they deep seated without attachment with the skin?
Any other information please.
Awaiting for your feedback.

They seem to move with the skin. They are not deep inside . I have had a zit before on armpit but this is different.
Brief Answer:
Most probably Hidradenitis suppurativa
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback and clear focused photos.
You have this problem for the last week but there is no pointing of pus or so.
Hence this can be taken as a mild form of a condition called Hidradenitis suppurativa wherein there is inflammation of the skin glands. There is no actual infection.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Clean the area with warm water at least twice daily.
Apply Liquid Povidone iodine at bed time.
Keep the area dry.
Avoid hot and humid atmosphere.
Use loose clothes to allow aeration of the area.
You may take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
Please do all these things and give feedback on results.
