Hi Me And My Wife Had Sex On XXXXXXX 1

Me and my wife had sex on XXXXXXX 1 , her last period was may 9, think that she crossed her ovulation before 5 days... we are delaying a child for next one year... and her next period will be approximately from XXXXXXX 7 to XXXXXXX 9...her average period cycle is 30 days
But i didnt ejaculate inside her... instead she swallowed my sperm...
For safety reason she took an ipill... to stop pregnancy...
The question is
Did we need to worry about pregnancy?
Did she get pregnant by swallowing sperm?
When she will get her periods for sure?
Detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern.
I have gone through your query and here are your answers:
1.Since she crossed her ovulation period by more than five days at the time of the intercourse, you did not need to worry about pregnancy. Moreover, she has taken the emergency pill within the stipulated time interval, hence she is well protected.
2. She cannot get pregnant by swallowing sperm.
3. She is likely to get withdrawal bleeding in a couple of days. Her next natural period is likely to get delayed by a week or two. This is due to the hormone disturbance caused by the high progesterone content in the emergency pill.
Hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if I can assist you further. I will be happy to help.

Yes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next cycle and the released ovum remains viable for 24 hours. Since you did not have intercourse during this period, you are safe.
Emergency pill can prevent pregnancy even with an unprotected intercourse during ovulation period.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be ready to help.
