Brief Answer:
Infection - viral / bacterial....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through the details. Fever and cough is due to an infection where the cause is commonly from virus. But rarely bacterial infection might present with these symptoms and antibiotic are necessary here.
You can continue taxim o forte as well as calpol suspension as recommended. In addition I would also suggest Syp Ambrolite for cough along with those medications. These medications would take about 3 days to improve. If they don't in my opinion, she should run tests through her pediatrician.
Most often these symptoms are not serious and recovers well. So do not be overly concerned.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any clarifications.
Regards
