Question: Hi. My husband was given Lexapro but only took 1 pill because of jitteriness. Today the doctor told him to take 1/2 of his 5 mg dosage and gave him Hydroxyzine 50 mgto take at night for insomnia. Question - he was feeling nauseous and took .05 ml of 1000mg CBD oil before we thought there might be interaction. Is it safe for him to take the Hydroxyzine

CBD oil and hydroxyzine is not known to have major interaction. But both can cause sedation. So avoid activities that require high degree of alertness like driving. Also, avoid consuming other sedatives or alcohol while taking CBD oil along with Hydroxyzine.
That being said, if he is feeling too drowsy, skip today's dose of hydroxyzine and restart from tomorrow. If he is not too drowsy, then hydroxyzine can be taken today.
