Brief Answer:
Give Paracetamol and Ondansetron
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome back
Hope your older son is fine now.
A sudden onset of fever and vomiting in a child usually suggests a viral illness. If he is is otherwise playful and taking feeds, we need not worry. Just give Paracetamol and Ondansetron for 2-3 days.
You can give 6ml of Fepanil 250 suspension 3-4 times a day and 7.5ml of Ondansetron suspension(2mg/5ml) 3 times a day. Wait for 1 hour before trying anything orally after Ondansetron. Give feeds in small frequent amounts.
With these measures, he should be okey in 72 hours. If not, or if he develops loose stools, kindly let me know.
I hope this answer will help

Brief Answer:
Both are same
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Happy to hear that she is fine now.
Emeset syrup contains Ondansetron only- so you can give it in the same dose mentioned before. No need to worry of fever- it will be there for coming 48-72 hours. After that he will be fine. Just give Paracetamol and Emeset until then.
If you need further clarification, I will be happy to help
Regards, Dr Aslam

Brief Answer:
Give Ranitidine and continue Emeset
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Sorry for being late
If there is no fever or loose stools, we need not worry. The abdominal pain and nausea might be from a gastric upset, which is common after a viral illness.
You can give him Syrup Ranitidine(75mg/5ml) twice daily before food for 3-5 days. Continue Emeset along with this to control nausea/vomiting. Let him avoid taking hot/spicy/fried food items. Have fruits, juices and enough water. He will be alright in a couple of days. Pain, if disturbing, will respond to Paracetamol.
