Brief Answer:
Not a cause for concern.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached reports.
Before the birth the baby has a hemoglobin level higher than the mother so that it can extract oxygen from the mother 's blood. This extra hemoglobin is no longer needed afterbirth and breaks down to produces bilirubin. The acceptable range varies with day of life and weight in kg. The stated level is acceptable and needs no phototherapy and morning rays of sun should suffice. However, certain doctors prefer to give phototherapy to be on the safer side. If the yellowishness reaches the sole of feet you will need to visit a doctor and get the level evaluated.

Hi Dr,
Since yesterday, the baby has not done potty. Though he's drinking mother's milk which we feed him every 2 hrs purposely and forcefully,he's passing his urine almost 5 times a day.,but potty is something which he hasn't done since yesterday till now.
Is there anything to worry, also it's been 8 days from the date of delivery,we haven't been given him any vaccination yet.We will give him the bcg n polio tomorrow. Is that ok

Brief Answer:
Normal
Detailed Answer:
For a baby of this age, it is normal to pass stool several times a day or even after each feed. Alternatively, the child may pass stool once in 10 days and that is normal too. Unless the stool is hard and pellet-like, you need not grow concerned. It is also normal to pass green stool or a combination of yellow stool. The green color occurs due to rapid transit through large intestine where the bile pigments do not get adequate time to convert to the yellow color of stool.
Please proceed with the vaccination as scheduled.
Regards
