Question: Hi, My wife was prescribed diane 35 for 21 days. She has PCOS, and we are working on pregnancy. She has some cystic areas in ultrasound and the doctor thinks it is better to get diane 35 in the middle. She still have 6 pills left. Although she has light spotting for last couple of days. Is this normal? Should I be worried? This is the first time she is taking Diane 35. Thanks.

1) Spotting while you are on diane 35 is normal due to hormonal variation.

2) It might also happen if you have skipped a pill.
