Hi, On XXXXXXX 6th,2019 I Had A Nose Piercing. Everything
Question: Hi,
On XXXXXXX 6th,2019 I had a nose piercing. Everything went fine. But on first weekend of February I ate tamarind and curd back to back. I have got one swelling just above the nose pin. It has been 1 month its not getting recovered. Though I haven't taken any medicine for this. It seems the blood has been clotted under the skin, and blood comes out if I try to poke it. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be infection, oral & topical antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs though they are not very clear.
It seems that you have developed an infection around the nose pin area.
I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like fusidic acid cream on the affected area twice daily and take a course of oral antibiotic like tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily for 5 days.
This should improve your condition.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.

Dr Asmeet
