Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX willwin,
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
Your vitamin D report falls in range of deficiency of vitamin D.Vitamin D helps in absorbtion of calcium &thus helps in bone health....making bones strong.
Low levels of vitamin D ,lead to low serum calcium levels& this can cause,
- Symptoms of fatigue, muscle pains &decreased working capasity.
-It can cause osteoporosis...may lead to repeated fractures.,fatigue.
*You need not be scared...replacement of vitamin D orally or by injections would revert the condition back.
-Exposire to mild sunlight in morning hours..
helps in vitamin D synthesis in skin ...thus a walk-in early morning sunlight helps in exercise to bones, muscles as well as synthesizing vitamin D in body.
-In present condition..you do need vitamin D supliments, doses to be adjusted to your personal health. Please consult your family physician.
I hope tht helps.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX willwin,
Thanks for the query.
I had seen yor vitaminD levels before(it's 26.6 nmol/lit. )The levels below 50 are said to be indication of bit D deficiency.
Now,the dose has to be adjusted according to degree of damage done (osteoporosis ).Assessed by serrum calcium&bone density test...along with physical examination done by a doctor. An orthopedic surgeon would help you in this respect.please visit one.
He may advise injectable vitamin D to start with to offer you a loading dose&would be followed by Tab calcium with vitamin D(like shellcal D 500) pills as routine suppliment to follow.
A periodic follow up check up of blood would be needed to check excessive vitamin D in blood...which needs to be avoided.
So in the begining at least you should consult expert orthopedic doctor.
Hope that helps.
Thanks.
