Question: Hi Sir,
My Brother is suffering from high grade NHL and CNS relapse. Undergone 5 chemo's for brain and 1 radiation so far. Even with the treatment his leg pains were not decreasing. So to rule out drug toxicity our oncologist referred to Neuro and he suggested for Spine MRI and nerve conduction study. Attaching the reports for MRI SPINE, NCS, CSF and reference letter to neuro and reply from neuro doctor. My oncologist is saying we should do few more chemo's. We are in a very bad situation not knowing what to do. Patient pain is not at all reducing and now he is not able to move his legs, completely lost control of both legs. Please check the reports and let us know whether we are getting the right treatment or not? We are ready to show it to you or whom ever you refer. We are in a very panic situation. Please help us.

Brief Answer:
Hello. The prognosis is poor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have seen the reports. Iam sorry to say but the prognosis is poor as rhe reports are suggestive of non responsiveness to therapy and relapse of disease. This situarion is very difficult to treat. Only option will be a rechallenge of high dose chemotherapy followed by transplant. However, the success rate will be low.
Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Hello. Clinical trial is always better

Detailed Answer:
Hello again. So participating in a clinical trial is always beneficial. By transplant i mean a bone marrow transplant after high dose chemotherapy. You may consult a transplant physician for that.
Hope you understand
Thanks and regards
