Hi! So I’ll Try To Keep This Short. I’m Pretty

Question: Hi! So I’ll try to keep this short. I’m pretty sure I hyperextended my knee this past Sunday night (it would be the 4th time of me doing it) I went to turn and plop on my couch and it went sideways and popped. It was very painful and usually I feel better in a few minutes but the pain wasn’t going away even after medicine and ice. I went to urgent care Tuesday afternoon to get it looked at they took x-rays and the doctor said they looked perfectly fine and that I was able to go to work the next day I just didn’t need to squat or bend my knee and I didn’t need to worry about a brace. But it’s gotten worse since then and it constantly feels wrong to be walking or putting weight on that leg and now it feels like my knee is going to pop at any second if I move it too much. I’m not sure if I should try to be seen again even though the doctor stated I was fine.

Brief Answer:
Needs absolute rest

Detailed Answer:
dear sir
it seems you have injured your knee ligament badly, and xray in that case should be absolutely normal as there is nothing happened to bone.to see the exact status of ligaments we need to have mri scan but its not advisable right now as it is not advisable in fresh injury,it do not results in any conclusions.
so apply knee immobilizer, ice pack ,anti inflammatory, bed rest and after 10 days go for mri scan.
thanks
