Brief Answer:
Allergy, Dryness.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. This nasal congestion and stuffiness seems to be related to allergy.

2. The slight blood in mucus in this season is common and due to dryness in the nose, chronic allergy, mild infections or repeated finger trauma.

3. Use Nasomist or Nasoclear saline nasal drops often. Otrinoz-P nasal , 3-4. drops twice a day for 3 days only will help if nasal congestion is not deceasing.

4. Direct examination is required only if this does not subside. You have not mentioned if this is on both or one side.

5. Medication is required only if this does not settle down or if the blood in mucus increases. Some anti-allergy medications and steroid (pressurised) nasal sprays tend to further dry the nose.

6. Allergy tests, nasal swabs, blood tests will be difficult in these times and can be planned in the next few weeks.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Shall I take both Nasomist & Otrinoz-P nasal drops? Adding to that I have been sneezing a lot because of this cold. I hope these nasal drops would reduce that too.

Thanks
