Hi There, One Day I Was Looking In The Mirror

Question: Hi There, One day I was looking in the mirror and noticed something (I felt) was rather strange & quite frankly quite disturbing. Long story short, I simply would like SOMEONE to look at just (1) of these photos, & tell me if I have cause for concern. I do not have a family Dr & well, lets just say, unless I go the the ER most folks won't help me. Soooo My question.. Would u look at the photo? .Also, I was diagnosed in 1991 w/ Chronic EBV (apparently, whatever, they saw, Dr. said I had the most severe type & my titers were off the charts. ??) If that helps. Thank U so much for your time. Robyn XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
An ultrasound needs to be done
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached images and indeed there seems something not right. A clinical examination would be required but I do not suppose that going to the ER would help. Rather, you should schedule an appointment with your GP. He can order an ultrasound of thyroid and throat to see whether things are fine.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
