Hi There Is A Hepatitis B Test At 66 Days

Question: Hi There
is a Hepatitis B Test at 66 days conclusive?, I tested negative, exposure was deep kissing but i remember i had a cut on my lip, so i am concerned
I seem to be having mixed answers with this,
CDC stating by 4 weeks the average would show positive but ranges from 1-9 weeks)
Other sources are stating by 30-60 days its detectable, some doctors are advising by 12 weeks and some saying by 6 months, I do not seem to have a definite answer on this

Brief Answer:
Conclusive
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Can you upload the results so that I am better able to help?
If serologic testing of Hepatitis B is showing as negative at 66 days (plus history of brief exposure), I will take it as clear of any Hepatitis B infection and do not worry anymore.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi Doctor
Yes, the Antigen test showed "not detected"
I havent been vaccinated either which I should
The reason for my concern was joint pain, I started experiencing joint pain in fingers and toes, knees, elbows and had rashes appear
These were the only symptoms i had, i did a inflammation blood test, UREA level was 7.8 which was slightly elevated, ESR, C reactive protein and Uric acid were normal levels
My kidney/liver function tests were normal too, thyroid was normal
Is it possible slightly elevated urea can cause joint pain?

Brief Answer:
This seems like a viral rash
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
This could be a viral rash of some mild type or maybe lupus (if its been there for long time). No, slightly raised urea will not cause joint pain and rash. But in some cases, lupus can cause affect kidney, joints and cause a rash.
If we look at overall picture, there doesnot seem to be something serious. If we avoid repeated "exposures", this episode should pass away.

But it states the following on my test result

Brief Answer:
It is borderline positive
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
The ANA test is borderline positive with speckled pattern. Speckled pattern is seen in Systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, Polymyositis/dermatomyositis, Systemic sclerosis/scleroderma.
The problem is that this test maybe positive in 40% of normal people.
A rheumatologic condition maybe causing your symptoms. So it needs further testing to find the exact cause.
SLE needs ANA, anti-dsDNA, anti-Sm antibodies testing
Sjogrens syndrome is unlikey with your symptoms.
myositis needs blood CK levels, AST, ALT. XXXXXXX scleroderma needs rheumatoid factor, anticentromere antibodies, anti-scl-70 antibodies tests.
Since your symptoms are mild, you may get these tests whenever you are comfortable.
Steroids are usually used to suppress the flare-ups of symptoms.
You may drink cleaner water.

Hi Doctor
thanks for the reply, the other symptom I have been having is spider vein appearing on my fingers, they are purple vein lookalike lines with the joint pain as well, is there a way to determine which autoimmune disease could cause this?
AST, ALT Levels were all normal, GFR was 87, normally its always been over 90 I noticed it was 87
So from my investigation, I am wondering what autoimmune disease could maybe impact kidney, cause spider vein (purple lookalike) and Joint Pain

Brief Answer:
Could be lupus erythematosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
It could be lupus eryhtematosis. But it is too early to comment on lupus, based on just one test and different spectrum of symptoms that can be caused by different set of disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, infectious arthritis etc.
