Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
Having an IgM of HSV slightly elevated at 1.10 IV may show recent or current infection. The IgG antibodies may need more time to reach detectable levels. It depends from person to person.
Wait for another month and retest it.

I’ve been tested 3x. The first time my Igm was positive (1.10) for hsv 1 but couldn’t distinguish between the two areas I’m guessing. I’ve never had a painful outbreak on my mouth or genitials. At the time of my first check up I had ingrown hairs, gyno did a visual culture and said he doesn’t think I have hsv . Gave me cephflex for the Ingrown hairs, and indeed the bumps went away. After 2 months I re-tested again & Both my Igm and igg was negative. 2 weeks later getting another test (3rd test) my igm was elevated slightly but still no igg.. Could this be a false positive?
Brief Answer:
IgM may show reoccurrence.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thank you for asking again.
I think there is no false positive results. The recently increased igM may signify reoccurrence and negative igg may signify undetectable levels yet.
