Hi About Four Days Ago I Was In The ER

Question: Hi about four days ago I was in the ER with the constant urge to urinate and left back pain. I was diagnosed with a 3mm kidney stone. There was no infection or UTI. They sent me home with pain meds and Tamsulosin. Later that night, the urge and pain were completely gone and I felt great. Now these past few days, the urge to urinate is back with a vengeance but no pain. I'm drinking water like crazy but I haven't noticed it passed. I would think not with this horrible urge still. It's keeping me up at night too. Do you think it's stuck or something?

Brief Answer:
Urge to pass urine is due to stone impacted in intramural part of Ureter.

Detailed Answer:
hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts and report of Ultrasound scanning that you have uploaded urge to pass urine that you have is mostly due to stone that is likely to be impacted in intramural part of ureter (part of the ureter in wall of the urinary bladder ) which is the narrowest part of ureter

In most of the cases these stones pass out spontaneously .

Continue taking Tomsulosin once daily and Drotaverine along with ant spasmodics like Spamo Proxyvon twice daily .

Ensure to drink more water that would help to pass out the stone hopefully within two to three days

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
Intra Mural par of ureter is embedded in bladder wall itself .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

The intramural part of the ureter is lower most and narrowest part of ureter (about 1.5 cms in length) that passes through wall of the urinary bladder before opening in to bladder.
