Question: Hi, basically my current issue is that I am not able to retract my foreskin from the head of the penis. As in it is not flexible enough for that. This is leading to hygiene concerns as well as other obvious issues. What is the recommended path for the issue.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.

* When you can retract the foreskin all the way, the issue of severe phimosis
is ruled out.

* If there is requirement of more efforts to take the foreskin back that
means there is excess foreskin obscuring the return of the skin.
Xylocaine jelly application helps to smooth that discomfort.

* When doing intercourse ( if sexually active ), if the foreskin is not gliding
satisfactorily level, then issue requires surgical correction with
circumcision.

* So far as cleaning purpose is concerned, when you are able to retract the
foreskin totally back, it can be cleaned off all the material when bathing
with antiseptic soap or liquid ; if that is having difficulty in management,
surgery is the best choice.

Would like to discuss further as per your need.
Wish you best health.

Regards.
