Question: Hi, currently I’ve been experiencing abnormal bleeding and it’s been 10 days since my period has ended. My periods sometimes come very irregular they can go from 28 days to 32 to 40 days . I took a pregnancy test one time after 40 days and it came back positive but I got my period in the next two days. I feel like as if I have fibroids since my sister and mom have them. I get heavy cramps and a lot of clotting and sometimes pain after sex in my pelvic area. I wouldn’t say we are trying to having a baby but We have been for about 7 months now, I bought ovulation tests to see if I was ovulating and they came back positive . I feel as if it’s affecting me please help ):

Fibromyomas are not common at this early age but may appear around 35 or later taking count of your family history also. Hormone imbalance may be possible also.
The episode you refer to before periods delay together with a positive test may signify an early abortion.
You have been trying to conceive for 7 months but you should try for at least a year of constantly trying before being evaluated for possible issues that can make it difficult to get pregnant.
So as a conclusion don't worry about pregnancy before a year of trying to conceive.
Do an ultrasound to check for cysts, myomas are not much likely.
Check thyroid function doing T3 T4 and TSH.
Start folic acid.
Check total blood count for anemia.
