Brief Answer:
There is nothing to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi Rheem,

If you do not have symptoms from your urinary tract (pain when urinating, frequent urination, incontinence), anemia, unexplained weight loss, etc. you have nothing to worry about. Approximately 30 percent of all will experience microscopic blood in their urine, without being sick.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thankyou doctor. Could this possibly be anything got to do with kidneys ? Kidney disease or cancer ?

My blood tests show everything is fine but I’m worried as to why from 2015-2020 I was only told now that there is microscopic blood in urine along with a trace of protein and white blood cells . I have attached some of the tests. Not sure if you could view them from your end. My urine sometimes has the tiniest white specks, or tiny little acid looking bubbles (on and off) and sinks to the bottom of the toilet bowl. Is anything of this concerning ?

Brief Answer:
Do you have any symptoms?

Detailed Answer:
Hi again Rheem,

As I mentioned, it is important to distinguish between symptomatic and asymptomatic microscopic blood. If you do have symptoms, I would recommend a cystoscopy and a CT urography. Or has that already been done?

I have no symptoms doctor. When I go to the toilet my urine colour is normal yellow. Sometimes can go darker with less fluid intake.

I do have concerns that my urine sinks to the bottom of the bowl rather than mixes with the rest of the water. I’ve checked both my daughters and husbands urine and mine seems to be the only one doing this.

Is this normal ?

Brief Answer:
Yes it is normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi again Rheem,

You haveshould nothing to worry about, the urine sinking to the bottom doesn't mean anything. To calm you, I would recommend you have an ultrasound of your kidneys, but I am sure it show that nothing is wrong.

Hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions.
