I hope all is well

I have some irritation in my penis hole. It’s hard to describe and not really visible via a picture.

It’s similar to a ulcer in the mouth appearance but on a very very very low scale. What could this be and how will it go away. I have noticed it around 5 days ago.

I’m a healthy 29 year old male. I have had all the STD checks this has involved a full panel for HIV, Gonorreha, syphillis, hepatitis. I have even had private GP testing for herpes HSV1 and HSV2 and a dna swab for HPV - all has been clear!

Please give your thoughts. It’s when I extend the meatus and it’s only visible when I look at it with light just a small white irritation by the looks of it.

Thanks fr query .

Based on the facts that you have posted irritation in external urinary meatus that you have noticed since very recently is due to small ulcer over urethral mucosa at external meatus .

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) What is your age ?
2) Did you have unprotected sex or Oral sex very recently with unknown female partner ?
3) Do you have any urinary symptoms like burning urination ,frequency ,urethral discharge etc ?

The irritation that you have is due ulceration of mucus membrane of urethra at external meatus .

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Hi doc I don’t think you have answered my query.

All my STI tests have been clear.

There isn’t any discharge. The last sexual encounter I had was in November last year and I have got tests for everything since then

Cefixime is an antibiotic and being a scheduled drug needs prescription of a qualified physician.

You can get the prescription from your GP.

Since all the tests are negative you need not worry . I should get cured within a week or two with treatment suggested

So what are the reasons for why this small ulceration occurs? Could it be linked to masterbation?

I have been cleared for all stds. But could this have been caused by the oral sex in November?
I got swabbed for herpes and a DNA test for HPV at 2 private clinics with all negative.

Please give your thoughts or is it related to a bacterial infection

Oral cavity is a habitat for many bacterial flora and it is very common to get bacterial infection transmitted through oral sex if the person giving oral sex has not a proper healthy oral hygiene.
