Question: Hi doctor, I hope you are doing well. please find my urine test attached . my symptoms are burning when urinating and too much urinating during the day .... I hope to explain to me the reason of high RBC and what is the reason and shall i take antibiotic like Augmentin?? please advise best regards. XXXXXXX

Hi Banna51,

The RBC is not very high, and there is no evidence of UTI. There is no need for antibiotics. Instead, I recommend plenty of fluids, and repeat the urinalysis in a few weeks. A urethral swap is advisable if you have unprotected sexual intercourse.
