Hi Doctor. I Was Feeling Sick A Few Weeks Ago

Question: Hi doctor. I was feeling sick a few weeks ago with covid-19 sysmptons. Nasal congestion and little of bit of headache.Took the covid 19 test and my results came back negative. For the nasal congestion i was prescribed some antibiotics and they made me better. However, Since last nightI have been getting sysmptoms of covid-19. Fever and headache specifically. It started last night and my fever fluctuates from 101.7 to 100. I ve been taking 1 tylenol every 5 hrs but it didn't do anything. I increased the dosis to 2 tylenol and it seemed to work at first but it seems after 2 hrs it goes back to 101.2 what should i do? The fever and the headache doesnt seem go away. It started last night.

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you initially had sinusitis taking count lof congestion and headache.
Now fever has appeared and looksnlike viral infection but we can't say covid19.
If fever is 101.2 or over you can use ibuprofen 400mg to lower it and if fever is below 101.2 use acetaminophen.
Ibuprofen can help with headache too.

I have told you to take ibuprofen 400mg for fever an headache and it can be taken without prescription in most of the countries.
Can you please clarify better the situation and the prescription you required ?
