Hi Doctor Hope All Is Well. I Am Facing An
Question: Hi doctor hope all is well. i am facing an issue with my eyes only in the morning time. when i wake i feel them very heavy and hard to open. I waa previously diagnosee with belpharitis and doing proper treatment for it. but not sure of this problem issue is related to it. I am using a night gel to lubricate my eyes during sleep but dont feel much difference with it. when i wake up that bad feeling lasts for a minute or so then it is gone. could it be due to extreme eye dryness or muscle.strain or some kind of allergy ? and why it disappears after a while ? or is it due to inflammation in the eyes ? related to blepharitis ? pleaae note also that of i put instantly lubrication drops in my eyes as soon as i wake up the symptoms goes directly.. probably excess eye dryness at night ? and if yes why the night gel is not working ? or you would more think about allergy ?
Brief Answer:
Sequelae of blepharitis.
Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
For any problem, you are likely to be worst off in the morning as whatever drugs you were using, their effects have waned off.
This problem is unlikely to be allergy or muscle strain as they occur when you use the eyes and are exposed to allergens.Overnight application of gel sees you through the night and in the morning effect of lubricant has waned off.
Continue with lubricant and you will be fine.Do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.
