Hi Doctor Hope All Well I Have Chronic Sinusitis And

Question: Hi doctor hope all well
i have chronic sinusitis and allergy as well
i am taking only xzal tablet
on may 2019 i had paid in my ainus and also in my teeth and bad smell in the nose i went to the docotr and he prescrib me cipro for 7 days but there was no improvment then after week he order CT scan for my sinus but the sinus was ok only small diviated bone which he told me it is normal
it renoscopy the was only heavy allregy but i have told him to do culture for bactrial and fungal
the reslt came negative for bactrial as postive for fungle . he told to not take any aunti fungal tablets . just to do noraml salin with salt but this not worked alot it helped but not much. yesterday i went to repeat the fungal test to check of it is still there

now i dont know what to do shall i take anti fungla or just wait ??

my blood test was normal as well

Hii. Can you please send the CT scan films and the reports and fungal culture report? In the meantime you can start fluticasone nasal spray to decrease the allergic component. You can also continue saline nasal spray to clear the allergic mucin of the nose and the sinus. But we need to see the CT scan report to find out how much the disease has involved and whether it looks like fungal infection or not. We have to also see the fungal report to see the nature of fungus. Depending upon the reports we can decide if you need any antifungal medicine or not. But for now continue the spray and review with the reports.

I have reviewed the report. Continue the nasal sprays, antiallergic tablet and you need to start an antifungal drug by your doctor. You need to visit your surgeon and enquire to start any antifungal drug.
